How it all began

In the early 1990"s Lewis was in his workshop being creative. He attempted to make a wind chime from some old silver spoons & forks. After cutting the tines off 2 forks, they landed on the bench on & near a teaspoon, he saw a spider, after a few attempts, that is exactly what he created!

Lewis began collecting old cutlery of all shapes & sizes, to see what other animals he could design. 

One by one they began to evolve, collecting cutlery became a priority. As Lewis's imagination grew, he developed a broad range of skills & techniques.

The admiration that was obvious from others convinced him that he was creating something special. He began selling his sculptures at local markets & then bigger & better exhibitions; including the Darling Harbour Olympic Exhibition in 2000, where he won a

 "GIFT OF THE YEAR" award.
